Summer bags

Spring is such a lovely time, especially in Greece, not too hot yet, beautiful wild flowers everywhere. My vegetable garden is ready, hurray! No veggies yet but it looks great. Have to carry on with the normal garden, still quiet some work to be done. 

 It's time to get our summer clothes ready, put on our sandals and enjoy spring and summer. Time for summer bags !!!

These ones I made just now.






I made this one of a tea towel I bought in the second hand shop. The outer pocket comes from an old shirt from my husband.




Both bags have a key chain

Time to get going again. Working on a bag with embroidered doily. And .... the garden needs work again... and again....and again!!!

    Oh yes, I too have been pulling weeds in the garden. When everything else is growing well, weeds especially do!
    We enjoyed a lovely 9-day vacation to Florida, all the way to Miami which is about 10 hours driving one-way for us.
    Hope your Mother's Day (if celebrated in Greece...) is a lovely one.

  4. Een tuin is nooit klaar, Ada! Maar als je ervan houdt is het leuk om te doen.
    Je tassen zijn weer mooi! Leuk dat je er allerhande stoffen voor gebruikt!

  5. de lente is zeker genieten hier in griekenland ..
    de temperatuur is op dit moment ook fijn nog niet zo warm
    je kan lekker in je tuin werken ..
    ik vindt de tassen heel mooie geworden en wat een goed idee (key chain) zo
    ben je nooit je sleutels aan het zoeken..
    ik wens jou ook een fijne moederdag ..veel liefs

    I know what you mean about gardening....I am in the garden almost every day and it still needs a lot of work!!!!!!!!!! But, we do like this, don't we?????????
